My name is Maria,
I am a student at De Montfort University,in Leicester. I am from Cyprus and I am 18 years old. This year I am doing foundation and I will begin the next year to study Journalism and media. In my free time I play piano and also I like to listen music. Moreover,when I have time I try to learn guitar.
I choose De Montfort University because, from studying at this University I will gain to speak a language that is foreign for me, I will fix my imperfections as much as I can and I would like to become a good Journalist. I decided to study Journalism and media because it is my dream for many reasons. First of all, I would like to interview famous people and I hope that in the future I will have my own radio show because is my biggest dream. In addition, I like to know about current events. Furthermore, I like to think critically. Moreover, my friends told me that I am ispired, so it will be good idea to be a journalist!
